PD: Privacy and Member Identification

Privacy and Member Identification

Join AIST and Lisa-Marie McKechnie, Partner, Financial Services Law at Ernst & Young as we explore the increasingly complex areas of privacy and member identification for superannuation fund professionals.

In addition to the requirements set out in the Privacy Act, super funds now need to consider additional obligations imposed by the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme and the EU General Data Protection Regulation

These sessions will also review the increasing occurrence of identity theft and the measures that funds now need to have in place to prevent the likelihood of unauthorized access to member balances.
